The day is observed every year on October 10 to raise mental health awareness among young people all over the world. The day also encourages people to talk openly about their problems. According to WHO(World Health Organization), young as well as old are suffering from severe mental health problems.
If people go into depression, there is a high risk of causing death by suicide. The idea of the world mental health day is to create awareness on such mental problems and treat it in a better way.
